Mubadala, in partnership with the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 and Al Jazira FC, has revealed the club’s new season jerseys incorporating the logo of the Special Olympics World Games 2019 in a unique design. The jerseys will be worn for the first time at the opening match of the Arabian Gulf League on Saturday (31 August 2018) between Al Jazira FC and Shabab Al Ahli FC, and the logo will appear on the jerseys for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.

Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi goes beyond sports and competition. By capturing the attention and imagination of millions of people across the UAE, the region and around the world, the Games send a powerful message of diversity, determination, inclusion, unity and pride. Through this new collaboration, Mubadala, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 and Al Jazira FC are committed to delivering and amplifying that message by leveraging the power of sport.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019 will see the biggest humanitarian sporting event in the world coming to the UAE, marking its first debut in the history of the MENA region.
