The Honored Guests Program brings together a select group of individuals from around the world who support the Special Olympics, including government leaders, celebrities, corporations and individual supporters and other dignitaries.

The Special Olympics World Games 2019 aims to engage Honored Guests in participating in a range of activities that offer interaction with athletes (e.g. Unified Sports Experiences) and other events to promote greater understanding, long-lasting friendship and lifelong support. The goal is to ensure that each Honored Guest, Sponsor and Performer has an outstanding, world-class experience that can also lead to direct and tangible benefits for Accredited Special Olympics Programs and the movement.
